Night shooting photography

Night shooting photography is a very interesting pastime. There are so many things that you can photograph at night. Many people like photographing landmarks such as bridges and famous buildings at night. Not too many things are as majestic as a bridge lit up at night and rising out of the water seemingly unsupported at the very base. Such sites are truly breathtaking and documenting them with a digital camera is no easy task but it is very rewarding.

If you are going to attempt night shooting photography, then be prepared to have the right equipment. One non-negotiable item is the tripod. Even if you have the hands of a surgeon, the tiny movements in your hands will create a very blurry image. Because the camera aperture is open for a long period of time, even the slightest movement will affect the image quality. Consider this, you will also have to use the automatic timer function because even your hand pressing the shutter button will be enough to make that incredible picture blurry.
